Projection Lighting was established in 1991. The company is based in a purpose built factory located in Manchester’s Trafford Park.

 

In 2008 the company launched the multi award winning alphaLED brand ultilising Xicato light engines. The unique corrective cold phosphor technology delivers an unrivalled performance and is the only LED product that guarantees up to ten years of life.

With over one and a half million fixtures sold on prestigious projects all over the world. The technology remains the first choice for many lighting professionals.

alphaLED exclusively uses Xicato lights sources in its products. At the centre of the chips are blue LEDs. A tailored phosphor
coated film is then selected to accurately tune the colour temperature. This separated sapphire crystal glass remains at a
very low operating temperature, which reduces lumen deprecation and colour shift throughout its life. Together with our no
compromise thermal management, no other LED technology can match the overall quality and performance of the alphaLED/
Xicato partnership.
